Eli Novey is the Chief Financial Officer of Toorak Capital Partners. He has over 20 years of experience in real estate finance, treasury, and accounting operations. Prior to joining the Toorak executive team, he worked for B2R Finance, the leading mortgage origination company focused on the single family rental and residential bridge loan markets. As B2R’s Treasurer, Mr. Novey oversaw the company’s cash and liquidity management activities covering loan origination, business operations, and warehouse and mezzanine financing activities in support of B2R’s multiple functional and product areas including the Dwell Bridge Lending Platform.

Prior to joining B2R, Mr. Novey served as the Corporate Controller of Northstar Realty Finance Corp., a diversified commercial REIT, where he was responsible for managing daily liquidity for the company’s various assets and entities as well as supporting its expanding reporting and compliance requirements. Prior to that, Mr. Novey was a senior manager in PricewaterhouseCoopers’ Banking & Capital Markets Assurance practice, where he served for 14 years, including a two-year rotation in the firm’s national office where he supported a variety of residential, commercial, consumer and specialty lending clients.

Mr. Novey graduated with honors from the University of California, Santa Barbara with a B.A in Business Economics.
