Mr. Kohout is Principal – Credit at Toorak Capital Partners. He brings over 30 years of experience in mortgage capital deal management and has expertise in portfolio acquisitions, management, and securitizations as well as lending operations and credit/risk management. Mr. Kohout served as Senior Vice President and Head of Credit at Verus Mortgage Capital, a position he also held at Window Rock Capital Partners and WinWater Home Mortgage. Throughout his career, he has held senior leadership roles at Arbor Residential Mortgage, Nomura Securities, Bank of America, Credit Based Asset Servicing Securitization, Countrywide Securities Corporation, and Bear Stearns.

Mr. Kohout holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance from Western New England College.
